we are currently hiring for the following positions:
Hosts
Shifts:
Tues. - Thurs.
2pm - 9pm
Fri. - Saturday
11am - 5pm
3pm - 10pm
The face of the restaurant. The first impression.
Duties include greeting guests, reservation management, reviewing Covid-19 protocol procedures, answering phones, processing take out orders, monitoring online orders, assisting with sidework, stocking and maintaining bathrooms.
Requirements: overall pleasant demeanor. Ability to handle stressful situations and to keep cool under pressure. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to be on your feet for entire shift and move quickly when needed.
Helpful yet not required: Past restaurant experience. Past experience working with web based POS systems. Past experience working with online and web based reservation programs such as Yelp Reservation, Seat Me or Open Table.
Uniform: Jeans, Jean Capris or Jean Skirt with clean Blue Fish Grill Shirt (must purchase), face mask. Hair must be out of your face and securely tied if necessary. General neat and clean appearance.
Host stand is currently outdoors unless bad weather.
Server
Shifts:

The sole of the restaurant. The one's who connect our guests with our brand.
Duties include customer management, customer satisfaction, customer relations, relaying and enforcing covid-19 protocol procedures. Also, managing take out orders, online orders, side work, maintaining general cleanliness of the restaurant both inside and out.
Requirements: overall pleasant demeanor. Must be able to multitask efficiently and be able to anticipate guests' needs. Excellent communication skills. Must obtain the ability to keep your cool under pressure and in stressful situations. Must be able to learn and retain menu items and details information regarding such menu items. Must be able to move quickly, remain on your feet for the duration of the shift, go up and down stairs, and be able to lift and carry at least 40lbs. Must be able to work well with others regardless of differences.

Busser / Food Runner
Shifts:
Tues. - Thurs.
4pm - 10pm
Fri. - Sat.
11am - 4:30
4pm - 11pm
The unsung heroes of the restaurant.
Duties include: Running food from kitchen to guest tables. Clearing and sanitizing tables and surroundings between each seating. Pre-bussing tables. Assist servers with beverages, condiments, and other service needs. Assist host in table management, ensuring tables are clean and ready for the next reservation. Responsible for getting dirty dishes back to dishwashing and replacing clean dishware. Breaking down recycling boxes. Changing and taking out garbage and recycling to bins in the back of the restaurant. Stocking take-out needs. Assist in packing take-out orders, various other side-work duties.
Requirements: Must be quick moving, be able to multitask efficiently, able to take direction well. Overall pleasant demeanor. Good communication skills. Self-motivated. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40lbs. Must be able to work well with others, regardless of differences, handle stressful situations with ease, keep calm under pressure.
Uniform: Khaki Pants and clean Blue Fish Grill shirt (must purchase), black non-slip shoes. Hair must be out of your face and securely tied if necessary. General neat and clean appearance.
